Our Boat - The Darwish
With our daily dive boat DARWISH we start every morning in front of the equipmentroom to go to the nice reefs around El Gouna.
With around 90 feet in lengh and 3 decks it is nearly the size of a safari boat and gives enough space for the divers.
After just a step out of the equipment room or the wet area you are in front of the boat. Your dive equipment will be taken on the boat by our crew.
Before the boat is leaving the marina you can prepare your equipment on the dive deck where you will find 12Liter Nitrox Aluminium-Tanks as well as 12- and 15 liter steel Air-Tanks. From the dive deck you can either enter the large saloon or using the stairs to the upper level where you find a huge shaded sun deck. In the Saloon we provide the very tasty lunch – daily fresh - later in the day as well as cold and hot beverage during the whole trip.
At the shaded sun deck you can sit and relax but also mattresses are installed where you can take a nap on the way to the divesite to start dreaming of what you will discover during the day.
The boat is featured with different soundsystems so that we can provide music on request.
You are always welcome to visit Captain Achmed in his captain cabin to have a look. On top of the captains cabin we have a pure sundeck. From the top of the boat you have an impressive 360degree view overlooking the sea and if you are lucky the passing Dolphins on the way.
For the Darwish we obtained a NIGHTDIVE LICENSE which allows us to to Nightdives and also overnight stays.
The friendly crew around Captain Achmed and Asus welcome you on board and give you a helping hand over the day no matter if you need more weights, just need to pass something or let them help you to get in your fins so that you don´t have to bend down. They are always around to serve you.
